Paul Heller bij Taste of Jazz
In maart komt tenorsaxofonist, componist, arrangeur en producent Paul Heller bij Taste of Jazz spelen, onder begeleiding van Arjan Stam (trompet en bugel), Dirk Balthaus (piano), Ruud Ouwehand (contrabas) en Erik Poorterman (drums). Dit wordt een jazzfeestje!
Paul Heller is sinds 2005 lid van de WDR Big Band, een met Grammy bekroonde ensemble. Daarnaast staat Heller bekend om zijn talrijke internationale projecten in uiteenlopende formaties, onder meer met Ack van Rooyen, Jasper van ’t Hof, Bart van Lier, Franco Ambrosetti, Scott Hamilton, Bill Evans, Al Foster, Billy Hart en Adam Nussbaum. Sinds 2013 is Paul Heller artistiek en muzikaal leider van de jazzconcertreeks “Paul Heller invites” in Keulen. Paul Heller heeft inmiddels twaalf cd’s onder eigen naam geproduceerd, is te beluisteren op meer dan 100 cd’s als gastsolist en sideman en 15 maart live te horen bij Taste of Jazz!
